Per Åsmund Omholt works as a researcher and educator at the folk music program at Campus Rauland, University of South-East Norway. He teaches traditional playing on Hardanger fiddle and sea flute, as well as music theory, cultural history, and social science subjects. His research has been particularly focused on studies of structure and tonality in Norwegian folk music.
